Senior Category Manager | FMCG
Basic: £70,000 + car allowance + bonus + benefits
Hybrid: 3 days a week in Twickenham office
Ready to shape the category agenda with some of the UK’s biggest retailers?
We’re looking for a Senior Category Manager to play a key role in driving category growth across our retail customers and brands.
This is a high-impact role for an ambitious Category professional who can turn data and shopper insight into compelling commercial recommendations — influencing customers, challenging thinking and helping shape the future of the category.
What you’ll be doing
- Build trusted relationships with key retail contacts and become a genuine category partner of choice
- Influence range reviews, space, distribution, display and promotional planning across major retailers
- Champion the Category Vision internally and with customers
- Use Circana, Kantar, dunnhumby, Retail Link and other data sources to uncover opportunities and tell compelling stories
- Partner with Sales, Marketing and Brand teams to translate insight into category and brand growth
- Develop customer-specific category and trade stories that influence commercial decisions
- Lead shopper marketing activity and manage customer budgets, continually testing, learning and improving
- Help raise Category Management capability across the wider business

You’ll be a graduate-calibre FMCG professional with:

- 5+ years’ Category Management experience
- FMCG experience
- Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation ability
- A strong understanding of the UK grocery market
- The confidence to influence, challenge and drive positive change
- A creative, commercially-minded approach to solving problems
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution — turning insight into action and making an impact with both customers and internal stakeholders.
