Role Overview
Bellrock Compliance is looking to grow its team of CDM Consultants, working across a diverse range of public and private sector projects including new builds, refurbishments, tall building remediation, maintenance schemes, NHS, universities, and data centres. The role will cover London, the Home Counties, and Southeast, involving site visits, reporting, and close collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams. We are seeking enthusiastic, professional individuals with strong leadership qualities and a ‘can do’ attitude who can deliver CDM Principal Designer duties to a high standard while building strong client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfilling the duties of the Principal Designer as defined under CDM 2015 including where necessary carrying out the role of CDM-Advisor to support the client.
- Having relevant knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and other relevant legislation, and being able to apply and implement those requirements at project level.
- Planning, managing, monitoring, and coordinating pre-construction phases of projects to identify, eliminate, or control significant and foreseeable risks relating to construction, maintenance, cleaning, and using the building as a workplace.
- Working with the client to gather preconstruction information, assess the adequacy, identify gaps, and provide advice on how they might be filled and distribute to those that need it.
- Managing multiple projects for key clients to the business particularly focused on the high-rise residential refurbishment, development, and commercial sector.
- Attending client meetings and carrying out H&S site inspections and delivering high-quality reports to the client within agreed deadlines.
- Providing clear, concise, and practical Health and Safety advice, guidance, and coaching to project teams throughout all stages of the project.
- Being responsible for collating, preparing, and issuing Health & Safety Files to the client.
- Being responsible for managing agreed fees, confirming invoicing, closing out appointments, and supporting debtor control.
- Exploring potential cross-sell opportunities across the wider Bellrock teams.

Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the construction industry with experience of CDM/Health and Safety issues in construction.
- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 and appropriate legislation.
- Holding a NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- Ideally being an incorporated member of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPs) or IOSH.
- Having a full and clean driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel to varied sites across London, Home Counties, and the Southeast.
- Being well motivated.
- Being a good communicator with interpersonal and organisational skills.

Working arrangements
We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from 6-8 Greencoat Pl, London, SW1P 1PL and home based. Monday to Friday 08:30am-17:00pm.
