Overview
Publicis Production is seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior CG Artist to join our Creative Advertising team. The Senior CG Artist will work under the supervision of the Product Director on various projects to ensure project alignment and success.
This role is focused on creating high-quality CG content and requires a broad range of technical skills and creativity. As a Senior CG Artist, the role may involve creating assets, developing shot-specific lighting or looks, and producing animations and effects.
The Senior CG Artist is responsible for project-based work for automotive configurator and general CG animation work. This role sits in the CG studio team in the UK, as an “on the box” lead, as part of a fully remote team.

Responsibilities
- Create high-end photoreal CG assets (static and animated) to a consistent, production-ready standard.
- Lead projects offering creative solutions to guide clients and internal teams through all projects.
- Experience working on configurable projects such as car configurators.
- Participate in dailies, reviews, and client meetings.
- Responsible for taking projects from brief to delivery, both executing and managing the project.
- Escalate work-related issues to supervisors and provide details to help with a solution.
- Work closely with a Product Director and Creative Director to maintain in-depth creative and technical understanding for the successful delivery of project assets.
- Responsible time management based on the scope of work.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider team.
- Contribute towards a collaborative working environment, mentoring junior staff as needed.
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years' experience in VFX for advertising.
- Prior experience leading projects and managing artists.
- Must have good knowledge of 3DSMax and Foundry Nuke.
- Knowledge of Maya, Houdini, Cinema 4D, Blender, and other DCCs is a major plus.
- Experience with generative AI tools and machine learning tools and frameworks is a plus, such as Comfy UI.
- Hands-on experience of real-time projects would be beneficial.
- A portfolio with work demonstrating CG work ideally in automotive, food/beverage, and packaged goods.
- Passion and a broad knowledge of the VFX, Design / Motion Graphics industry with an eye for future developments and challenges.
- Strong creative and technical eye for photo-realistic CG animation and knowledge in all other areas of CG including modelling, texturing, lighting, FX, and rendering.
- Project planning expertise that includes scoping and costing.
- Comfortable operating under pressure across multiple concurrent projects without loss of quality.
- Ability to work within and inspire a team and under own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both on a technical and creative basis.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
