Senior Channel Strategist

We're looking for a Senior Channel Strategist to help our clients turn their employer brands into meaningful, effective experiences across the channels and touchpoints that matter most to talent.

You'll sit at the intersection of employer brand, audience strategy, communications and channel planning, translating employer brand strategy into clear recommendations for where, when and how organisations should show up.

You'll work across the full employer brand ecosystem, from careers sites and social to paid media, employee advocacy, recruitment platforms, events and internal channels. You'll understand the role each channel plays and create joined-up strategies that make employer brands distinctive, relevant and effective.

What you'll do

  • Develop integrated channel strategies that bring employer brands to life across the candidate and employee journey.
  • Define the role and purpose of different owned, earned, paid and employee-led channels.
  • Translate employer brand positioning and EVP into practical channel and communications strategies.
  • Research talent audiences and understand their behaviours, motivations and media consumption.
  • Develop audience/channel frameworks, journey maps and activation plans.
  • Work with creative teams to ensure ideas are strategically strong and effective in their intended channels.
  • Develop channel recommendations for employer brand, talent attraction and recruitment campaigns.
  • Lead client workshops and presentations, clearly articulating your strategic thinking and recommendations.
  • Define appropriate channel KPIs and use data and performance insights to evolve strategies.
  • Bring a channel perspective into broader employer brand strategy and help clients connect brand with activation.
  • Track new platforms and changes in existing ones, turning them into fresh ideas that keep our clients ahead of change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What success looks like

You'll help our clients understand where and how their employer brand should show up, while bringing greater integration between brand, creative, content and channel.
