Industry: Property Management/ Construction
Location: Isle of Wight
Hours: 39 hours per week (8am - 5pm Mon-Thu, 8am -1pm Fri. May consider 34 hours, Monday - Thursday)
Days: Monday - Friday (may consider Monday - Thursday)
Duration: Permanent
Duties:
- Lead building surveying commissions across commercial, residential and public sector assets.
- Prepare professional reports, specifications and schedules of work.
- Undertake condition surveys, defect analysis and compliance reviews.
- Act as Contract Administrator and Employer’s Agent on a range of projects.
- Support project delivery from feasibility through to completion.
- Provide technical oversight and peer review for less experienced colleagues.
- Contribute to the development of standards, templates and quality systems.
- Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, quantity surveyors and asset specialists.

Experience:
- MRICS qualified Building Surveyor.
- Strong knowledge of construction technology and building pathology.
- Experience delivering contract administration and project work.
- Excellent report-writing and client-facing skills.
- Commercial awareness and practical problem-solving ability.
Salary:
£58 - 62,000 per annum
