Are you an experienced MRICS Quantity Surveyor looking for a senior role within a consultancy where your expertise, judgement and client relationships genuinely matter?
I’m working with an established and ambitious independent property and construction consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality cost management and project advice across a diverse range of sectors.

The opportunity
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of cost management projects, working closely with clients and project teams from inception through to completion.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead cost management commissions with a high degree of autonomy
- Prepare budget estimates, cost plans and detailed financial reports
- Produce Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
- Manage tender processes, evaluate returns and provide commercial recommendations
- Undertake interim valuations and manage project cost reporting
- Manage final accounts and assess contractor claims
- Monitor and control variations throughout the project lifecycle
- Present reports and project updates directly to clients
- Oversee project financial performance
- Support and mentor junior members of the team
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
- Contribute to business development and wider consultancy initiatives

About you
You’ll be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong grounding in consultancy-based cost management.
Ideally, you will be MRICS qualified, although substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
We’re looking for someone who can combine strong technical QS skills with the confidence to:
- Take ownership of projects and client relationships
- Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders
- Produce high-quality reports and commercial advice
- Manage multiple commissions effectively
- Support and develop less experienced colleagues
- Contribute to business development and the wider growth of the consultancy
