Contract Opportunity – Senior Chassis Design Engineer
Contract initially 3 months with potential of 6 months
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Chassis Design Engineer to support an exciting high-performance vehicle development programme with DRVN Automotive Group. Location: Coventry
This is a hands-on engineering role within a small, fast-moving team, taking chassis systems from concept and detailed design through to prototype build and validation.
You’ll be working across:
- Suspension, steering, braking and chassis structural systems
- 3D CAD and 2D engineering drawings using CATIA V5
- Part Design, Surface Design and Drafting
- DFMEA and engineering documentation
- BOM management and engineering release
- Supplier liaison and prototype component manufacture
- Prototype vehicle builds and testing
- Chassis subsystem architecture and detailed design

We’re looking for someone with strong CATIA V5 capability and significant chassis design experience who is comfortable taking ownership of engineering solutions and moving quickly from concept to physical vehicle.

Experience across motorsport, performance vehicles, low-volume automotive or OEM vehicle development would be particularly relevant.
