Salary: £14.50 per hour plus service charge and tips.

About The Role
As a Senior Chef de Partie, you’ll play a key role in driving exceptional food quality and kitchen standards. Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll support the Sous Chef and take ownership of your section, leading by example, supporting the wider team, and ensuring every dish reflects the Champneys experience.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine creativity, organisation, and management to deliver consistently high standards across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Sous Chef and stepping up in their absence
- Leading, coaching and inspiring junior chefs across the kitchen
- Preparing and presenting dishes to exceptional standards, with a strong focus on nutrition and wellbeing
- Managing your section—ensuring stock control, cleanliness, and organisation are always maintained
- Driving quality, consistency, and continuous improvement across menus and service
- Ensuring full compliance with food safety, HACCP and hygiene standards
- Working collaboratively with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
- Controlling food costs, reducing waste, and maximising efficiency

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar chef role within a quality-led environment
- Strong knowledge of allergens, dietary requirements and nutritional standards
- A passion for healthy, wellness-focused cuisine
- Excellent organisation, communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, guest-focused attitude and a pride in delivering exceptional standards
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and environmental health regulations
