The Venue

The Bridgewater Hall stands as one of the UK's premier international concert venues, celebrated for its world-class acoustics and exceptional audience experiences. As an iconic civic institution, the Hall plays a vital role in the cultural landscape of Manchester and the North West, welcoming diverse audiences and partners across the arts, education, business, and community sectors.

Each year, the venue hosts over 290 main-stage performances, alongside more than 250 events, functions, and community programmes across its secondary spaces. While 60% of the programming is dedicated to symphonic repertoire, the Hall is also the venue of choice for a wide range of contemporary artists and genres. It serves as the permanent home of The Hallé.

Driven by a highly active community engagement initiative and a programming team that delivers a bespoke International Concert Series, the venue under the direction and control of Legends Global operates in many aspects as a self-contained business. Its internal capabilities include dedicated marketing, bespoke ticketing services, and award-winning conference and events and in-house food and beverage services.

The Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional food experiences by supporting the Head Chef and maintaining outstanding quality, presentation and service standards.
  • Lead and inspire during service, overseeing restaurant, hospitality and event catering operations while ensuring smooth kitchen performance.
  • Drive innovation and commercial success through menu development, seasonal planning and maximising revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant and efficient kitchen, championing food hygiene, HACCP, health & safety, stock control and cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborate across the business with Hospitality, Sales and F&B teams to deliver memorable customer experiences and support wider operational objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
