Role Description

As part of the expansion of our shipping activities, we are establishing an integrated global chartering platform with offices in Europe and Singapore.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Chemical & Product Tanker Charterer to join and help develop our European chartering office.

The European and Singapore offices will operate as one coordinated global chartering desk, providing worldwide coverage. The European office will have primary responsibility for commercial development and cargo origination across Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Atlantic markets.

Our core focus will be modern MarineLINE-coated chemical and product tankers, primarily in the 15,000–25,000 DWT segment, with broader exposure to smaller chemical tankers and MR product tonnage as the platform develops.

Our commercial focus includes:

  • Chemicals – our primary focus
  • Clean Petroleum Products
  • Vegetable Oils
  • Biofuels and other suitable cargoes for MarineLINE-coated tonnage

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong and recent experience in chemical and product tanker chartering
  • Proven experience with coated chemical tankers
  • An established international network of charterers, traders, producers, and brokers
  • Strong knowledge of European, Mediterranean, and Atlantic cargo flows
  • Experience across Spot, COA, and Time Charter business
  • A proven ability to originate cargoes and build direct relationships with cargo interests
  • Strong commercial judgement and voyage economics capability
  • An independent, entrepreneurial, and hands-on approach
  • The ability to work effectively as part of an integrated global chartering team

This is a senior commercial role offering the opportunity to play a key part in building and developing a worldwide chemical and product tanker platform from an early stage.

Location: Europe – Rotterdam preferred; London, Copenhagen, and Hamburg will also be considered

Primary Market Responsibility: Europe, Mediterranean, and Atlantic

Trading Mandate: Worldwide
