The Role
We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Leeds. We are well known locally for working on projects like Aire Park and the Tetley Brewery redevelopment, the Wellington Place masterplan, Leeds Urban Village, as well as many other high-profile developments where you can walk to site from the office. We are also proud to work for a number of local healthcare Trusts including the new hospital programme at Airedale General Hospital. We have extensive experience in the education sector across the north supporting contractors, trusts and universities from concept stage of the design through to construction and handover.

The Right Fit
You will lead the planning, design and delivery of civil engineering projects across residential, commercial, healthcare and education sectors. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, support junior members of the team with their development and undertake line management duties. You will have sound technical design skills in drainage, external works, levels, earthworks and highways design.
Your experience will include:
- Concept and detailed design for sustainable drainage systems.
- S104 and S185 agreements.
- Flood Risk Assessments.
- Competent in technical drawing production from feasibility stage through to construction using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
- Causeway Flow or similar software.
- Experience in pavement design to DMRB and BS7533.
- S38 and S278 agreements.
- Confident in liaising with local authorities, clients, contractors and internal and external design teams.
- Plan and manage resources and project finances.
You will be professionally qualified with the ICE or demonstrably working towards it.
