Now, as our team grows, we’re looking for a Senior Civil Engineer ready to take the lead on high-impact, multidisciplinary projects across Aviation, Life Sciences, Defence, Industrial, Power, Transportation, and the Public Sector.

What You’ll Do
- Lead civil design delivery across multiple projects, hitting cost, schedule, and quality targets
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering technical growth and BIM integration
- Design infrastructure solutions including earthworks, drainage, pavement design, and 3D underground service coordination
- Review subcontractor and supplier drawings for compliance and precision
- Champion innovation and sustainability in every solution
- Represent BakerHicks in client meetings and site visits, showcasing our expertise
- Drive best practices in design and project delivery
What You’ll Bring
- HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered or working towards ICE Chartership
- Proven experience in infrastructure design and coordination
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage
- Strong grasp of drainage network design, flood risk assessment, and SuDS
- Collaborative mindset with multidisciplinary team experience
- Ability to mentor, review, and problem-solve with confidence
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for sustainable design
