Senior Civil Engineer ready to take ownership and help build something? This Senior Civil Engineer role in Bristol offers the chance to lead highways and infrastructure projects while playing a key part in growing the civil engineering function within an established private sector consultancy.
Based in Bristol, the Senior Civil Engineer will work with a strong local client base while supporting projects across the UK. This Senior Civil Engineer position is ideal for someone who wants to grow personally, take charge of project delivery and progress toward Principal and Associate level while helping to train and develop junior engineers.

Key responsibilities
- Lead highways and infrastructure design including S278 and S38 works
- Support drainage, SuDS and Flood Risk inputs for development projects
- Produce and check drawings and models using AutoCAD and Site 3D
- Project manage selected schemes from concept through approval
- Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor junior engineers and support the growth of the Bristol team
About You
- Senior Civil Engineer with 3 to 5 years UK consultancy experience
- Strong S278 and S38 background, drainage exposure beneficial
- Confident communicator with high attention to detail
- Ambitious, organised and keen to take on responsibility

- Salary GBP35,000 to GBP45,000
