About The Role
The Senior Civil Engineer position in Bristol, offered by RGB on behalf of a multidisciplinary consultancy, carries a permanent contract with a salary between £40,000 and £55,000 per annum. The Role
You will lead the design and management of highway and drainage schemes, mentor junior engineers, and manage projects from planning through to construction.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading highway and infrastructure design projects across the UK.
- Designing highways in accordance with Local Authority guidance, Manual for Streets, etc.
- Delivering highway drainage designs in line with Sewerage Sector Guidance and SuDS requirements.
- Producing technical reports, fee proposals, and tender submissions.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, local authorities, and statutory bodies.
- Managing S278, S38, and S104 adoption agreements.
About You
- Strong drainage design experience
- Strong knowledge of UK highway design standards and Local Authority/National Highways requirements.
- Experience with S278, S38, and S104 agreements.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site 3D, Causeway Flow/InfoDrainage.
- Experience producing designs from planning through to construction.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and business development skills.
