About The Role
RGB seeks a Senior Civil Engineer for a permanent post in Birmingham, paying £40,000 to £50,000 annually. You will lead project delivery, mentor junior staff, and support practice growth. The role centres on technical excellence in Flood Risk Assessments, SuDS, and drainage strategies.
Candidates need a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, robust drainage design capability, and familiarity with national planning policy on flood risk and drainage. The Ideal Candidate
They’re looking for an experienced engineer with a background in Flood Risk Assessments, SuDS, and Drainage strategies.
You’ll Also Have
- A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent.
- A strong drainage capability with a good understanding of drainage design.
- A strong understanding of national planning policy and relevant legislation regarding flood risk and drainage.
- Experience of river restoration/design.
- Experience of meeting attendance and liaising with clients, architects, contractors, local authorities, and other statutory bodies.
- Chartered status or working towards Chartered status (ICE/CIWEM) would be advantageous.
