About The Role

RGB seeks a Senior Civil Engineer for a permanent post in Birmingham, paying £40,000 to £50,000 annually. You will lead project delivery, mentor junior staff, and support practice growth. The role centres on technical excellence in Flood Risk Assessments, SuDS, and drainage strategies.

The Ideal Candidate

They’re looking for an experienced engineer with a background in Flood Risk Assessments, SuDS, and Drainage strategies.

You’ll Also Have

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent.
  • A strong drainage capability with a good understanding of drainage design.
  • A strong understanding of national planning policy and relevant legislation regarding flood risk and drainage.
  • Experience of river restoration/design.
  • Experience of meeting attendance and liaising with clients, architects, contractors, local authorities, and other statutory bodies.
  • Chartered status or working towards Chartered status (ICE/CIWEM) would be advantageous.
