Senior Civil Engineer | UK | £65,000–£80,000 + benefits
I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a rapidly growing renewable energy business developing a critical electricity network infrastructure.
This is a key technical role, acting as the civil engineering lead across a portfolio of network development projects, including:
- Substations
- Overhead lines
- Underground cable projects
- FEED, pre-construction and detailed design
- Technical assurance and engineering standards
- Civil design from concept through to energisation
You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, contractors, customers and network operators, providing technical leadership and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with UK electricity network standards and CDM requirements.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in civil engineering within the energy/network sector
- Proven experience managing civil design from concept through to delivery
- Experience across electricity network projects
- Good understanding of CDM and UK engineering standards
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant equivalent experience

Job Details
Location: Flexible/hybrid working options (ideally be based in the South UK).
Salary: £65,000–£80,000 depending on experience
Bonus: Up to 25% discretionary
