Senior Civil Engineer Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

The Role A well-established engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in St Albans, supporting projects across North London, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. You will be involved in the design and delivery of civil engineering schemes across a range of residential, housing and commercial developments, working closely with clients, architects and other engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver civil engineering schemes for residential and commercial developments
- Drainage and surface water design
- Highway and infrastructure design
- Prepare technical reports, drawings and calculations
- Liaise with clients, contractors, architects and other consultants
- Support projects from initial concept through to detailed design and construction
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to the wider team
About You
- Experience working as a Civil Engineer, ideally at Senior level
- Strong experience in drainage and surface water design
- Knowledge of highways and infrastructure design
- Experience working on residential, housing and/or commercial developments
- Good understanding of relevant UK design standards and regulations
- Confident communicating with clients and other project stakeholders
- Ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of projects
