Senior Civil Engineering Technician

Full time

Office Address: Unit 7, Barnsley Business and Innovation Centre, Innovation Way Barnsley, S75 1JL

Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 basic (Depending on experience/qualification)

About the role:

We are seeking a Civil/Structural Technician to join our growing team.

You will work across multiple projects and contribute to our ISO 9001 quality management system. Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking 3D modelling at a minimum BIM level 2 standard.
  • Coordinating Revit models and information from subcontractors.
  • Managing Technicians and checking drawings to ISO 19650.
  • Working on various projects across major civil engineering sectors including rail, energy, and water.
  • Producing general arrangement drawings and details for bridges, stations, buildings, substations, flood alleviation schemes, culverts, and other national infrastructure.
  • Being Client-facing, attending design team meetings, and carrying out site visits.
  • Meeting project deadlines and budgets.
  • Upholding strict quality standards of work.
  • Abiding by ISO 9001 and 19650 requirements.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, supply chains, stakeholders, and colleagues.
