About the Role

This is a great job for someone who:

  • Enjoys shaping how claims are handled, influencing best practice, and supporting colleagues to deliver great outcomes.
  • Is confident working with technical detail, collaborating across teams, and guiding others through complex claims.
  • Likes improving processes, spotting opportunities, and helping teams grow their capability.

In this role you would be a key member of the Financial Lines claims team. You would be responsible for managing a wide range of complex and high-value Financial Institutions, D&O, Crime, and M&A claims as part of a wider team of market professionals.

This role strengthens how we handle technical claims and ensures our guidance stays accurate, clear, and aligned with regulation. It focuses on improving processes, sharing expertise, and supporting colleagues to deliver fair, consistent, and expert outcomes.

Insight plays a big part, helping us understand trends, refine our approach, and improve the customer experience. You’ll work closely with teams across Aviva, as well as suppliers and reinsurers, to reduce risk and maintain strong claims performance. At its core, this role helps protect our customers’ interests and supports the continued development of the Claims function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
