Senior Claims Broker - City Of London
Your new company
Your new company is a growing Lloyd's market insurance business with an international reach and a diverse portfolio of specialist insurance and reinsurance risks. Operating across multiple territories, the company manages a broad range of UK and international exposures and has built a strong reputation within niche and complex markets.
Due to continued growth and an increasing volume of claims activity, the business is looking to appoint a dedicated Senior Claims Broker to support its expanding operations and help shape the future of the claims function.
Your new role
As a Senior Claims Broker, you will manage a varied portfolio of Lloyd's and London Market claims across a broad range of classes. The portfolio includes marine business, with a particular focus on yacht and bloodstock/equine claims, alongside property, professional indemnity, directors' and officers' liability, digital assets, reinsurance and quota share business. Much of the portfolio is written on a binder basis, with claims exposure spanning the UK, Europe and North America.

You will be responsible for handling claims from first notification through to settlement, liaising with insurers, underwriters, brokers, loss adjusters and clients to ensure claims are progressed efficiently and effectively. The role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to become the dedicated claims specialist within the business, supporting a growing operation with increasingly complex claims requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have previous Lloyd's and London Market claims experience, ideally within a Claims Broker, Senior Claims Technician or similar technical claims role. You will have experience handling multiple classes of business and be comfortable working across both insurance and reinsurance claims.
Strong knowledge of Lloyd's market processes, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work independently are all essential. Candidates with circa three - five years of relevant market experience who are looking to take the next step in their claims career are encouraged to apply.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of up to £60,000 and the opportunity to join a growing international Lloyd's market business at an exciting stage of its development.
You will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of specialist and international claims while taking on a role that is expected to become increasingly important as the business continues to expand. The position is based in London and requires five days per week in the office.
