Senior Clerk of Works

  • Hours: 37 hours p/w
  • Salary Scale: £39,496 – £46,079pa
  • Job Reference: SCoW/0726(2)

The Senior Clerk of Works will lead quality assurance across Choice’s development programme, ensuring construction works meet design intent, regulatory requirements, and the Association’s standards for social and affordable housing. The role combines expert site inspection with leadership responsibility for developing reporting standards, mentoring the Clerk of Works team, and driving continuous improvement in digital inspection systems and snagging methodologies.

The Senior Clerk of Works will act as Choice’s monitoring agent on construction quality, compliance, safety, and both traditional and modern methods of construction, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistent high standard. By championing best practice and innovation, the Senior Clerk of Works will play a key role in improving residents’ outcomes and strengthening Choice’s reputation for quality housing delivery.
