Senior Client Delivery Consultant

At-a-Glance

Senior implementation lead at a specialist tax technology platform, owning full-cycle delivery for multinational enterprise clients
Strong fit for Senior or Principal Functional Consultants from finance software vendors, or Big Four professionals who have moved into technology delivery
Deep focus on Pillar Two, GloBE and BEPS 2.0: the fastest-growing area in international tax compliance
Hybrid working from London: WFH Mondays and Fridays, office mid-week for collaboration and client days
£50,000 - £70,000 plus a strong benefits package

About the Company

A specialist RegTech platform helping multinational organisations navigate the complexity of Pillar Two, BEPS 2.0 and international tax compliance. The company implements its own technology directly with enterprise clients, combining deep tax and accounting domain expertise with hands-on SaaS delivery. Unlike generalist consulting, the team works at the intersection of tax regulation and technology implementation, giving senior consultants genuine subject matter depth alongside a varied portfolio of complex, high-profile engagements.

The Role

As a Senior Client Delivery Consultant, you will act as the primary vendor-side delivery lead on complex, multi-workstream implementations for global enterprise clients. You will own the engagement from requirements analysis through solution design, configuration, data analysis, testing governance and go-live. You will chair client workshops, manage senior stakeholder relationships, define interface and data lineage specifications, and oversee SQL-based data validation and migration activities. Alongside delivery, you will contribute to pre-sales: demos, scoping workshops and implementation planning. The strongest candidates will be experienced implementation consultants from finance software or RegTech platforms... people who understand how finance and tax reporting data moves through an enterprise system, and who can challenge a client's requirements rather than simply deliver against them. Pillar Two or GloBE exposure is rare and highly valued: this is where the bulk of the company's current book of work sits.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Chair workshops with senior client stakeholders, documenting business processes, target operating models and future-state reporting requirements
  • Define functional specifications for interfaces between client source systems and the platform, ensuring complete data lineage and financial control
  • Perform and oversee SQL-based data analysis: validating source data, investigating data quality issues, reconciling financial results and supporting ETL and data migration activities
  • Manage testing governance across SIT, UAT and production dry run phases, coordinating client and internal workstreams
  • Own delivery governance across your engagements: RAID management, milestone tracking, dependency management and production readiness reviews
  • Support pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, implementation scoping and client discovery workshops
  • Mentor and provide quality assurance for junior consultants within the delivery team
  • Act as a subject matter authority on Pillar Two, GloBE and international tax reporting, challenging and shaping client requirements where appropriate

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • 5+ years' experience as an implementation consultant, functional consultant, or delivery lead at a finance software vendor, RegTech platform, or in a Big Four technology advisory role
  • Strong accounting or finance domain knowledge: from a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), Big Four background, or sustained exposure to financial reporting, multi-GAAP, or regulatory compliance
  • Proven track record owning full-cycle implementations for large, complex enterprise clients across requirements, design, configuration, testing and go-live
  • Hands-on SQL experience for data analysis, source data validation, reconciliation and migration activities
  • Experience managing senior client stakeholders and leading requirements workshops at programme level
  • A demonstrable track record of shaping and challenging client requirements rather than simply executing against them
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to attend the London office three days per week
