Job Summary

Location: London, UK
Division: Ticketmaster UK
Line Manager: Senior Director, Client Development
Contract Terms: Permanent, Full-Time

THE TEAM

You'll be joining the Client Development team at Ticketmaster, who are responsible for securing new business opportunities and renewing existing partnerships by establishing and nurturing strong relationships across our diverse client base. The team works across the full breadth of the live entertainment landscape, partnering with some of the most recognised names in the industry.

This is a team of experienced, commercially driven individuals who thrive on the variety and pace that comes with working across multiple sectors simultaneously. Collaboration, knowledge-sharing and a genuine passion for live events are at the heart of how we operate.

THE JOB

The Senior Client Development Manager will play a leading role in growing Ticketmaster's client base by identifying and converting new business opportunities across a wide range of live entertainment sectors. This includes, but is not limited to, multi-configuration venues, sports clubs and stadiums, visitor attractions, exhibitions, cultural institutions, and other organisations for whom ticketing and access technology is central to their operation.

The breadth of this role is deliberate. We are looking for someone who can move fluidly between very different client environments — from a national sporting body to an immersive experience brand — and bring the same level of commercial rigour, creative thinking and genuine enthusiasm to each conversation. You will also work with existing Ticketmaster clients to ensure they are making the most of what we have to offer.

This position requires a seasoned, well-connected professional who is as comfortable presenting to a board of directors as they are building relationships on the ground. You'll be given genuine autonomy to shape your pipeline and approach, backed by the support of a world-class internal team.

This is not a desk-based role. We expect the successful candidate to be an active and visible presence in the UK entertainment industry — visiting clients regularly, attending key events and conferences, and genuinely embedding themselves in the networks and communities that matter to our business. Building a strong personal reputation within the UK live entertainment landscape is as important as the deals you close.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Serve as a key driver of new business, consulting with the Client Development team to identify opportunities of scale, assess viability and risk, formulate commercial proposals in line with current business strategy, negotiate deal terms, and successfully see deals through to signature.
  • Develop and manage a diverse pipeline spanning multiple entertainment sectors, understanding the distinct commercial needs of each — whether that's the complex yield requirements of a multi-configuration venue, the season-based dynamics of a sports club, the throughput challenges of a major attraction, or the project-based nature of an exhibition.
  • Evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate ticketing solutions, from straightforward General Admission through to sophisticated seated configurations and capacity management tools, taking each conversation from initial pitch through to handover to our implementation teams.
  • Demonstrate detailed and up-to-date knowledge of Ticketmaster's full product and technology offering, including data analytics capabilities, marketing reach and client services, to ensure every client conversation is relevant and compelling.
  • Maintain a strong presence across the industry — attending conferences, networking events and client-hosted occasions to build your reputation and develop new leads.
  • Work with your line manager to identify and follow up prospects, maximising revenue opportunities from both new and existing clients, and providing high-level support as new solutions are implemented.
  • Own the critical transition from signed contract through to onboarding and first onsale — coordinating closely with the client and our internal operational, implementation and client services teams to ensure timelines, expectations and deliverables are aligned, and that every new partnership goes live smoothly and on schedule.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams — including product, marketing, operations and client services — to deliver on client objectives and ensure internal teams are appropriately briefed and resourced.
  • Show leadership within Ticketmaster to ensure clients are satisfied with our service and that revenue for both parties is maximised, working across departments to ensure the smooth operation of your clients' businesses.
  • Work with the UK B2B Marketing Manager to create tailored sales and marketing materials suited to each client opportunity.
  • Work to meet targets for new business and client renewals, as well as targets related to the adoption and implementation of ancillary products and client tools.
  • Maintain accurate records across all targeted areas of the business, provide reporting to senior management, and log all relevant activity in Salesforce. You'll contribute to regular internal business reviews with updates on the clients and sectors you are working with.
  • Immerse yourself in the wider Ticketmaster business and speak authoritatively about our products, technology and services to clients and colleagues alike.
  • Forge and develop strategic partnerships with affiliates, content producers, media partners and other relevant businesses, leveraging your network to deliver value across our portfolio.
  • Travel as required to meet business needs and commitments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
