Role Summary
The Senior Client Director – Insights is a pivotal leadership role within the commercial organisation, reporting to the VP of Client Strategy. As the commercial lead for a multidisciplinary client pod, you will own a portfolio of our client's largest and most strategic partnerships while being accountable for pod revenue growth, delivery quality, and team performance. This role blends strategic thinking, operational discipline, and hands-on leadership to build a high-performing, collaborative team across sales, strategy, and delivery ensuring clients receive strategically valuable, insight-led recommendations that deliver measurable commercial value. A strong understanding of insights and measurement is fundamental to success.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the commercial performance, operations, and strategic direction of a multidisciplinary client pod spanning sales, strategy, and delivery
- Lead, grow, and retain a portfolio of our client's largest and most strategic client partnerships, driving committed revenue growth and account expansion
- Build a high-performing pod culture centred on accountability, collaboration, commercial impact, and client excellence
- Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development across the client strategy and insight team, acting as the senior escalation point for client, commercial, and operational challenges
- Partner with Business Development to identify and unlock new opportunities across teams, markets, and business functions
- Ensure consistently high-quality, commercially impactful insight work, empowering teams to translate data into compelling, actionable client stories
- Develop deep expertise in our client's products and methodologies, and how insight outputs create measurable value for customers
- Maintain visibility of pod performance through accurate forecasting and reporting
- Collaborate with fellow Pod Leads and senior stakeholders to drive consistency, best practice, and the evolution of ways of working across the commercial organisation

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience within insights, measurement, research, or data-led roles, with a strong ability to translate data into strategic recommendations
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing, client-facing teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing long-term client partnerships and committed revenue
- Experience in a high-growth or scale-up environment, thriving in ambiguous, fast-moving conditions where process is still being built
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on client and team support
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence at senior levels
- Insight-led, commercially astute, and growth-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with agile or pod-based team structures is advantageous
