About the role

As part of the Global Operations team, you will work closely with Distribution, Product, Investments, Client Relationship Management and operational teams across our global business. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating a broad range of client and product implementation activities, ensuring the efficient delivery of operational change while maintaining a strong control environment.

The role requires an experienced professional with strong operational knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. You will play a key role in supporting business growth by delivering high-quality implementation solutions for new and existing clients, products and regulatory requirements.


About you

Your experience

  • Strong experience within investment operations, client implementation, fund operations, custody, or a related financial services environment.
  • Experience managing operational change and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience of leading the operational implementation of product and client lifecycle events including fund launches, fund closures, share class launches, client take-ons, client exits, migrations and in-specie transfers.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and experience with project or workflow management tools would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience in and commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing operational efficiency.

Your day-to-day

  • Act as deputy to the Client Implementation Manager, providing support and leadership across all client implementation activities as required.
  • Contribute to team leadership meetings and provide input into workload prioritisation, resource planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage and oversee client implementation work assigned to the team, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and service standards.
  • Lead the operational implementation of product and client lifecycle events including fund launches, fund closures, share class launches, client take-ons, client exits, migrations and in-specie transfers.
  • Coordinate operational change activities relating to segregated mandates and pooled fund structures, ensuring all internal and external stakeholders are appropriately engaged.
  • Support changes to existing client arrangements, investment management agreements, products and operational models.
  • Act as a key liaison between Operations, Product Management, Distribution, Legal, Compliance, Investment and third-party service providers.
  • Maintain governance over authorised signatory lists and associated distribution processes.
  • Assess the operational impact of regulatory developments and support the implementation of new regulatory reporting obligations and market requirements.
  • Provide market opening support to investment teams, coordinating with custodians, counterparties and relationship managers to facilitate timely account establishment and market access.
  • Manage market renewals, powers of attorney and other market-specific documentation requirements.
  • Oversee Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) applications and renewals for pooled investment products.
  • Coordinate and maintain market due diligence activities, ensuring documentation remains accurate and up to date.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring service delivery and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Identify operational risks and control weaknesses, driving remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all departmental processes, controls, procedures and checklists are maintained, documented and adhered to.
  • Support global change initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across regions to promote consistency in operational processes and best practice.
  • Contribute to the development, coaching and knowledge sharing of team members to strengthen team capability and resilience.
  • Produce and present management information, implementation updates and risk assessments to relevant stakeholders when required.
