Who are The Profs?

The Profs is an award‑winning and innovative EdTech business providing higher‑education tutoring and admissions consulting to clients and institutions around the world. We are now building on a period of phenomenal growth and expanding our Subject Tuition Sales Team.

Our Company

We are a global education business operating primarily B2C, supporting thousands of expert tutors and tens of thousands of students worldwide.

Founded in 2015 by the Evans brothers, The Profs was built on a clear mission: to combine exceptional tutoring with innovative technology to help students achieve their personal and academic goals.

Our commitment to excellence has been widely recognised. We are Trustpilot’s highest‑rated tutoring company for eight consecutive years, have been named the UK’s top tutoring company by Education Investor, listed among the UK’s Top 100 Startups, and awarded a Department for Education innovation grant. Our founders have also received accolades including Forbes 30 Under 30 and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

About the Role

As part of our ambitious growth strategy within the Tuition Team, we are seeking an experienced Senior Client Manager to drive sales performance, own high‑value client relationships, and help more students achieve life‑changing academic outcomes.

This is a pivotal time to join The Profs as we enter a new phase of expansion across both the Tuition Sales department and the wider business. You’ll gain a front‑row seat to how a fast‑paced, high‑growth organisation scales, while playing a hands‑on role in making that growth happen.

In this role, you will take full ownership of driving new business and expanding our tuition client portfolio. You’ll lead a consultative, inbound‑led sales process from initial enquiry through to close, identifying client needs, recommending tailored tutoring solutions, and securing high‑value packages.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
