About The Team
The Client Onboarding team sits at the heart of our firm's risk and compliance framework, supporting our service lines to onboard clients efficiently while meeting regulatory obligations. The team works collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, providing expert guidance on anti-money laundering, client due diligence, sanctions screening and risk management requirements.
As our business continues to grow, this is an exciting opportunity to join a highly visible and collaborative function that plays a critical role in protecting the firm and delivering an excellent experience for our clients.
About The Role
- Carry out client due diligence activities and collate supporting documentation for new and existing clients.
- Conduct sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons and adverse media screening checks.
- Support Risk Partners and engagement teams in assessing client risks and determining onboarding requirements.
- Apply a strong understanding of anti-money laundering, client due diligence and regulatory requirements across a range of client types and entities.
- Act as a point of contact for complex and escalated onboarding queries.
- Build effective relationships with client-facing teams and clients to obtain information and documentation required to progress onboarding activities.
- Ensure onboarding activities are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Take ownership of complex or higher-risk onboarding cases through to successful resolution.
- Support quality assurance reviews and ensure compliance with firm standards and regulatory obligations.
- Identify risks, issues and anomalies, escalating matters where appropriate.
- Produce management information and support reporting requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for designated service areas and share knowledge across the team.
- Support the onboarding and development of new team members through guidance and coaching.
- Contribute to workload management, team meetings and wider operational activities.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, quality and efficiency.
- Positively contribute to team culture, collaboration, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.

- Experience conducting client due diligence and risk assessments.
- Experience managing complex cases and working with multiple stakeholders.
