We are looking for a Senior Client & Operations Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of Gilts, Structured Products, Georgeson and Dissenter operations, ensuring operational excellence through effective leadership of direct and indirect teams.

The successful candidate will lead client relationship development, product and service enhancements, risk management and commercial growth initiatives. Working closely with internal teams and supporting the business development function, this role will identify new opportunities, strengthen existing client partnerships and maximise value across our client portfolio and external networks.


A role you will love

The Senior Client & Operations Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of Gilts, Structured Products, Georgeson and Dissenter operations, ensuring strong client relationships, operational excellence and effective team performance.

The role drives client retention, service improvement and commercial growth by managing teams, supporting business development opportunities and ensuring robust governance, compliance and processes. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the Senior Client & Operations Manager delivers high-quality outcomes while continuously enhancing client experience and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring effective portfolio management, client retention and confidence in service delivery.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams through strategic direction, coaching, performance management and collaboration with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective management of client events, issues and resolutions, implementing improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Design and deliver professional presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Maintain robust governance, business systems and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate risks while keeping relevant stakeholders informed.
  • Support effective communication and implementation of operational changes across teams and the wider business.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies, process improvements and synergies across the organisation.
  • Support business development activities and proactively identify new client opportunities through external networks.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness through effective cost management, budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain and develop industry knowledge and market awareness to support business growth and client outcomes.

What will you bring to the role?

We are looking for an experienced client and operations professional with strong expertise in relationship management, business continuity, process improvement and operational governance.

  • Experience in client management within financial services or registry environments.
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven people leadership and ability to build senior client relationships.
  • Commercial awareness, problem-solving skills and strong organisational abilities.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans, Business Impact Assessments and related documentation, ensuring teams understand objectives, roles and responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of systems and processes, with the ability to identify risks, implement improvements and ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting business projects as a subject matter expert, including user acceptance testing and implementation activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and resilience.
