Senior SaaS Client Relationship Manager

πŸ“ Hybrid (London-based)
πŸ’° Up to Β£60,000

A growing climate-tech business working across heat networks, renewable energy, and utilities infrastructure is looking for a Senior SaaS Client Relationship Manager to lead strategic relationships across enterprise and public-sector accounts.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in SaaS Customer Success, Client Relationship Management or Account Management, ideally within district heating, heat networks, utilities, energy services, or wider climate-tech. Experience in the energy sector is highly desirable but not essential.

This is a high-impact role focused on customer success, retention, operational performance, and account growth. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders while acting as the voice of the customer internally across Product, Operations, and Commercial teams.

What you'll be doing

  • 🀝 Managing and growing strategic SaaS relationships across enterprise and public-sector customers
  • πŸš€ Driving customer adoption of platforms supporting heat metering, billing, energy efficiency, and operational optimisation
  • 🚨 Acting as the senior escalation point for complex customer issues, ensuring excellent service delivery
  • πŸ“ˆ Identifying and delivering upsell and cross-sell opportunities across SaaS products and services
  • πŸ“‹ Supporting customer onboarding, contract delivery, compliance, and billing processes
  • βš™οΈ Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to improve platform performance and customer experience
  • πŸ“Š Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, quotations, and account plans
  • πŸ‘₯ Leading, mentoring, and developing a junior Client Relationship Manager

What we're looking for

  • πŸ’Ό At least 5 years' experience in Customer Success, Client Relationship Management, Account Management, or SaaS
  • 🏒 Experience managing senior stakeholders across enterprise or public-sector organisations
  • 🧠 Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • ❄️ Calm under pressure and confident managing multiple priorities
  • πŸ’° Commercial mindset with a track record of identifying account growth opportunities
  • πŸ“Š Strong analytical skills with excellent spreadsheet and data-handling capability
  • πŸ›οΈ Experience working with local authorities, housing associations, utilities, or energy services organisations is highly desirable
