Your Responsibilities

Lockton Re is seeking an experienced Senior Client Services Advocate to join our Client Partnership Services team, supporting the Global Specialties division.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Client Services Advocate to join our Global Specialties team within Client Partnership Services, supporting a portfolio of complex Marine & Energy Treaty reinsurance business.

This is a senior technical position that combines specialist processing expertise with mentorship and exceptional client service. Acting as a key referral point for less experienced colleagues, you will work alongside another Senior Client Service Advocate to support the development of the wider team while ensuring the delivery of a first-class service to clients and trading partners.

The role is based in our London office on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and 4 days per week during the initial training and onboarding period.

The Role

As a Senior Client Service Advocate, you will play a key role in delivering efficient, accurate and responsive support across premium and claims processing, broker support and IBA activities.

Working closely with brokers, clients and reinsurers, you will process a complex portfolio of Marine & Energy Treaty business while ensuring a high standard of service and technical accuracy throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end technical processing activities across proportional and excess of loss business.
  • Support Marine & Energy Treaty accounts across complex reinsurance programmes.
  • Process premiums, pro-rata settlements and claims transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Negotiate and manage claims through to settlement and closure.
  • Prepare and issue client and market documentation.
  • Liaise with brokers, clients and reinsurers on technical processing matters.
  • Maintain account statistics and support portfolio reporting activities.
  • Manage cash allocations, client statements and aged debt activities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, carriers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues, acting as a trusted technical referral point.
  • Support the wider team's success by championing best practice, quality and service excellence.

We're looking for an experienced reinsurance professional who can bring both strong technical expertise and leadership capability to the team.

You will have:

  • Proven experience handling complex Treaty reinsurance business
  • Strong Marine & Energy processing experience
  • Experience managing proportional and excess of loss premiums and claims
  • Excellent technical knowledge of London Market systems, including IMR, CLASS, ECF and LORS
  • Previous experience of Open TWINS, which would be highly advantageous
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyse and maintain account and portfolio data
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent business relationships with colleagues, clients, reinsurers and other market partners
  • Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve complex or unusual technical issues and implement practical solutions
  • Experience actively building relationships with team members, internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting colleagues and delivering outstanding client service
