We are looking for a Senior Client Support (Accounts Senior) to join our growing Client Support team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant who enjoys working closely with clients, delivering high-quality accounts and advisory services, and supporting the development of junior team members.
You will work with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and growing organisations across a range of sectors, providing valuable financial insight and helping clients make informed business decisions.

Client Accounting & Advisory
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts and financial information for a broad portfolio of clients.
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts and supporting schedules.
- Preparing tax computations and supporting information.
- Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Identifying opportunities to add value and provide wider business advice.
- Supporting clients in understanding their financial performance and business objectives.
Client Relationship Management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Acting as a trusted point of contact, delivering excellent client service.
- Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Supporting Client Managers with the day-to-day management of client portfolios.
- Assisting with onboarding new clients and identifying opportunities for additional services.
Technology & Innovation
- Supporting clients with transitions to cloud accounting platforms and digital processes.
- Promoting best practice in the use of accounting technology and automation tools.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Team Development
- Supporting, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members.
- Acting as a buddy and role model for trainees and less experienced colleagues.
- Sharing technical knowledge and helping to develop team capability.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We're looking for someone who is technically strong, client-focused, and eager to develop their career within a growing and ambitious firm.
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong experience preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax computations
- Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and UK compliance requirements
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
- Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members.
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering excellent client service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
