Our partner is looking for a Senior / Clinical Data Manager based in United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to lead clinical data management activities across complex international studies that contribute to advancing healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
You will oversee the full data management lifecycle, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of clinical trial data from study start-up through closeout.
Working within a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, you will partner with sponsors and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality clinical research.
The position combines strategic project leadership with hands-on data management expertise and operational excellence.
You will play a key role in driving regulatory compliance, process improvements, and successful study execution across multiple global projects.

Accountabilities
The Senior / Clinical Data Manager will be responsible for leading data management activities across multiple clinical studies while ensuring regulatory compliance, data quality, and successful project delivery.
- Lead end-to-end clinical data management activities across multiple complex global clinical trials, from study start-up through closeout.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to assigned data management teams throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- Act as the primary data management contact for sponsors, ensuring effective communication and strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Develop, review, and maintain project-specific documentation, including Data Management Plans and Data Management Files.
- Ensure all data management activities comply with internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Perform and oversee quality control activities, database quality assessments, and validation processes to maintain data integrity.
- Support staff training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across assigned projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes, documentation, and operational standards.

Requirements
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in clinical data management, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline, a nursing qualification, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical data management or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries.
- Strong knowledge of clinical data management best practices, methodologies, and technologies.
- Solid understanding of clinical trial documentation, including study protocols, case report forms (CRFs), statistical analysis plans, and study reports.
- Experience managing multiple clinical studies and leading cross-functional project teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to data quality and regulatory compliance.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, sponsors, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic global environment.
- Experience contributing to process improvements, SOP development, or quality initiatives is considered an advantage.
