An Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Clinical Fellow (ST5-7)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Fellow (ST5-7) to replace a current gap in service provision for twelve months. The remit of the post holder will be to work within the multi-disciplinary team providing and further developing care for women in Maternity & Gynaecology. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the multi-disciplinary team providing and further developing care for women in Maternity & Gynaecology.
  • Play an active role in the general workload of the department.
  • Take part equally with other trainees in a rota with EWTD with retrospective cover.
  • Engage in cross-site working to encourage full integration of the departments.

Location

  • The post will be based at the Princess Royal site of Kings College Hospital.
  • Some cross-site working to encourage full integration of the departments may be required in the future.

On-Call Commitment

  • 1:8 rota.

Role Description

As a junior employee of the Trust, you will work in close cooperation with, and support other clinical, medical professional, and managerial colleagues in providing high-quality healthcare to the Trust’s patients. Although the post is not recognised by the Royal College of Gynaecologist as training posts, they offer excellent educational opportunities and the successful applicant will be given the same educational opportunities.
