Job Description
This post aims to support the Bariatric, Upper GI and General Surgery Department at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital.
About the Role
A Senior Clinical Fellow is sought to work as part of the specialist Upper GI/Bariatric Surgery team at both sites of the Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be a senior registrar equivalent with experience in General, Upper GI & Laparoscopic Surgery looking to further develop their knowledge and skills in this area. Experience in Bariatric Surgery is essential.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior consultant colleagues, CNS, dietitians, psychologists and endocrinologists to deliver excellent care for our patients.
- Undertake General Surgery on-call duties.
- Undertake further General Surgery (theatre lists and clinics) service commitments as required.
- Help the Specialist Registrars in the administration of the day to day running of the firms.
- Supervise, help, and instruct junior colleagues wherever possible.

Requirements
- Achieved or working towards their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent.
- Some roles may require weekend shifts at multiple sites.
