Senior Clinical Fellow - Emergency Medicine

We are looking for a team-playing individual to join our front door team as a Senior Clinical Fellow.

About the Role

The Emergency Medicine team has a multidisciplinary ethos, working in ‘partnership’ with other key teams to assess and manage patients presenting to the service according to evidence-based principles. We have strong relationships with the Specialist teams, radiology, GPs, and community services to facilitate admission avoidance.

Main Duties

The main duties of this post are the assessment of patients, ordering and following up investigations, completing documentation, and working flexibly within the emergency medical bed base. There will be out-of-hours duties and you will be required to work flexibly seven days a week. With regards to commitments to emergency medicine, the successful applicant will work as part of the Emergency Department team and will be supported by Senior Trainees and Consultants.

The post-holder will participate in audit including the quarterly audit meeting and attend departmental teaching. The department strongly supports educational needs such as clinical courses, conferences, etc. The current emergency physicians take personal interest in supporting training activities and career development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
