Senior Clinical Fellow
We are looking for a full-time Senior Clinical Fellow to join our Trust.
This post is the equivalent of an ST3-8 position on the East of England Trauma & Orthopaedic Specialty training programme. Exact equivalence of grade offered will be determined through the recruitment process. It is a non-Deanery post so is not accredited for training, but will give the post-holder similar clinical and surgical experiences and opportunities for learning, including attending the regional teaching programme.
Responsibilities
- Duties will mirror those of the Specialty trainees at the trust, with elective and emergency commitments, including day and night shift on-call rota.
- Work in fracture and elective clinics, trauma and elective operating lists, and care for patients on the ward (working effectively with junior members of the team such as Core and Foundation trainees, alongside other healthcare professionals, such as Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioners and the Trauma Nurse Practitioner).
Job Details
- The post commences as soon as possible and will be for a fixed term period of 12 months.
- The appointment is to the Trust, not to specific hospitals.
