About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager (CPM) to lead the delivery of global and regional clinical studies for a growing portfolio of biotech and pharmaceutical clients. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic CRO environment, managing studies across multiple therapeutic areas while acting as the primary point of contact for sponsors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong CRO background, previous CRA experience, and a proven track record of managing complex clinical trials, client relationships, budgets, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the operational delivery of clinical trials from start-up through close-out.
  • Serve as the primary contact for sponsors, ensuring exceptional client management and communication.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Data Management, Medical Monitoring, and Vendors.
  • Drive study performance through proactive issue identification and mitigation.
  • Conduct project meetings, governance reviews, and sponsor updates.
  • Support business development activities, including participation in bid defense meetings and proposal development where required.
  • Review project financials and contribute to budget management and forecasting.
  • Ensure studies are conducted in compliance with ICH-GCP, company SOPs, and applicable regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients, particularly within the biotech sector.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
