We are hiring for a resilient, sales-minded Senior Solution Sales leader for one of the UK’s largest Global Strategic accounts. If you have strong sales execution experience, capability and skills. This will require leading an Azure Strategy with a world class team, to lead on a global platform to compete, build net-new pipeline, orchestrate a world-class technical team and shape the overall account strategy, please apply.
As a Senior Cloud & AI Platforms Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for driving Microsoft’s Data, Analytics and AI business across one of Microsoft’s most strategic global consumer goods customers. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders, helping accelerate digital transformation agenda through Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, AI Platforms, and Data Estate Modernization solutions.
This role requires executive engagement, business strategy, solution sales leadership, and technical breadth. You will develop and execute growth strategies that help modernize data estate, democratize analytics, operationalize AI, and unlock business value across supply chain, consumer engagement, sustainability, manufacturing, and corporate functions.
Working with Account Executives, Customer Success, Consulting, Engineering, and Partners, you will lead virtual teams to build pipeline, win strategic opportunities, influence technical decisions, and drive Azure consumption growth. Success will be measured through customer business outcomes, technical wins, consumption growth, market share expansion, executive relationships, and long-term platform strategy.
Responsibilities
Executive Customer Engagement
- Build trusted advisor relationships with CIO, CTO, CDO, Chief AI Officer, digital transformation leaders, and senior business stakeholders.
- Lead strategic Cloud & AI conversations focused on business outcomes.
- Influence customer technology strategy and investment priorities.
- Represent Microsoft in executive briefings, workshops, innovation sessions, and strategic account planning.

Cloud & AI Business Growth
- Own the Cloud & AI Platforms growth strategy.
- Create and execute account plans aligned to Microsoft Data, Analytics, and AI priorities.
- Drive pipeline generation, technical wins, and Azure consumption growth.
- Expand Microsoft footprint across Data Estate Modernization, Analytics, AI, and Application Innovation.
Data & Analytics Transformation
- Lead customer discussions around Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, and Business Intelligence platforms.
- Support modernization of legacy data platforms and cloud-native architectures.
- Position Microsoft’s strategic platform for enterprise data, analytics, and AI.
AI Platform Leadership
- Accelerate customer adoption of AI platforms and AI workloads.
- Lead discussions on responsible AI, governance, agentic AI, and enterprise AI transformation.
- Support realization of business value using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and Microsoft AI platform capabilities.
- Translate AI opportunities into scalable business outcomes.
Competitive Strategy
- Develop strategies against AWS, Google Cloud, and competitive data platforms.
- Leverage Microsoft differentiation across Data, Analytics, and AI.
- Partner with global compete teams to address customer objections and strengthen Microsoft’s market position.
Orchestration & Leadership
- Lead virtual teams of specialists, architects, consultants, and partners.
- Coordinate resources across sales, engineering, consulting, and customer success organizations.
- Drive accountability for deal progression and execution.
- Share best practices and mentor peers across the Cloud & AI Platforms community.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Technology sales and strategic account leadership experience.
- Experience selling enterprise cloud, data, analytics, and AI solutions.
- Success engaging C-level and senior business decision makers.
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder digital transformation initiatives.
- Ability to develop executive relationships and influence strategic customer decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Consumer Goods, Retail, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain industry experience.
- Knowledge of SAP and large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
- Microsoft Cloud, Data, and AI certifications.
Solution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across United Kingdom is £ 95,300.00 - £ 136,100.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
