Senior Cloud Developer | Azure | Kubernetes | C#
Location: Cambridge
Remote Work: 50% office working
Salary: £60,000-£75,000
Sponsorship: No Sponsorship Option
I’m working with a technology business looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to join their R&D team in Cambridge.
You’ll be working as part of a cross-functional engineering team, designing and building highly available SaaS services within a modern Azure environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and developing scalable cloud services in Azure
- Building and supporting microservices and REST APIs using C#
- Working with Kubernetes / AKS and containerised applications
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Working closely with other technical teams across the wider platform
- Helping identify and resolve technical issues across production environments
- Taking ownership of what you build and how it operates in production
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers

What they're looking for:
- Strong commercial experience developing cloud-based applications
- Strong knowledge of Azure – compute, storage, security, monitoring and diagnostics
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ideally AKS
- Strong C# /.NET development experience
- Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
- Experience working within a CI/CD environment
- A proactive approach with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:
- Angular or other modern frontend frameworks
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Experience with SaaS platforms
