Job Opportunity: Cloud Engineer
My client, a leading quantitative investment firm, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their growing technology team in London.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the expansion of the firm’s cloud environment, contributing to the development of execution systems, quantitative research platforms, data ingestion pipelines, and post-trade applications. This is a hands-on role offering a high degree of autonomy and ownership, with the opportunity to work with the latest cloud technologies and deliver impactful solutions across the business.

- Play a key role in the expansion of the firm’s cloud environment
- Contribute to the development of execution systems, quantitative research platforms, data ingestion pipelines, and post-trade applications
- Work with the latest cloud technologies to deliver impactful solutions across the business
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong hands-on experience across AWS and Kubernetes
- A strong Infrastructure-as-Code mindset is essential
- Solid experience with Terraform
- Comfortable working with CNCF technologies including Argo CD, Kyverno, and Prometheus
- Experience with Grafana for monitoring and alerting
- Experience with automation through GitHub Actions or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of cloud security, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
