Job Title: Senior Cloud Network Engineer
Type: Full Time / 37.50 hours per week / Hybrid – HO is based in Northampton
You need to live within a reasonable commuting distance to the HO in Northampton – weekly attendance is expected
Salary DOE from £55k per annum
The closing date for this will be 19th August or until the right candidate is hired
Purpose of the Role
- Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and resilient cloud network solutions across Microsoft Azure and multi-cloud environments.
- Ensure optimal network performance, reliability, security, and governance through automation and best practice.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver and maintain high-performing cloud networking services.
- Drive continuous improvement through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and modern cloud networking technologies.

Key Accountabilities
- Design and support Azure and multi-cloud network solutions.
- Manage network security, performance, and reliability.
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud networking services.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Provide technical leadership and support best practice standards.
Essential / Desired Experience
- 5+ years' network engineering experience, including Azure networking (Essential)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, routing, firewalls, and network security (Essential)
- Hands-on experience with Azure networking services, including VNet, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and Firewalls (Essential)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Ansible), CI/CD tools, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) (Essential)
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills (Essential)
- Azure certifications (AZ-700, AZ-104, AZ-305) (Desirable)
- Kubernetes (AKS) networking experience (Desirable)
- Knowledge of SD-WAN or SASE architectures (Desirable)
- Experience working in a regulated environment (Desirable)
