Full Stack Cloud Operations Engineer

Night shift 10 PM to 6 AM

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, reliability, availability, and performance of NICE's cloud and datacenter infrastructure. Working across Windows, Linux, AWS, VMware, and physical compute environments, you will support business-critical production systems that power our global operations.

You will proactively monitor infrastructure, resolve incidents, optimize system performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes. This role offers the opportunity to work across modern cloud technologies and enterprise-scale infrastructure while helping maintain a secure and highly available environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, monitor, and support a production infrastructure environment
  • Administration of AWS environment and resources
  • Supports multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity
  • Follows defined procedures to monitor systems and resolve issues
  • Analyzes and reports on operational metrics to understand performance and ensure success in process improvements
  • Manage DNS, FTP, IIS, and Application environments
  • Participate in an On-Call rotation
  • Communicates events to stakeholders, teams, and leadership
  • Work with cabling, racking, and other tasks in Physical Data Centers (Some Travel May Be Required)
  • Create user accounts in IAM and other user management resources
  • Updating Production Server Resources and Sizing
  • Support and troubleshooting in medium to complex technical issues
  • Follow the company Code of Ethics and CXone policies and procedures at all times

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years working in a large production infrastructure
  • 5+ years in Windows Server Administration in a Production Environment
  • 5+ years configuring server hardware and OS
  • Experience managing and hardening Linux servers in production environments (RHEL, Ubuntu, or Amazon Linux)
  • Experience successfully working in fast-paced production environments with rapidly changing priorities and timelines
  • Microsoft and Linux OS Patching
  • Strong Knowledge of Windows Domains, Active Directory and DNS
  • Experience working with Change Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a PCI / Cyber Essentials compliant environment
  • AWS EKS and ECS Experience
  • Experience maintaining relational databases
  • Experience working with Chef, Ansible or Puppet
  • Experience working with SAN or NAS
  • Experience working with Okta
  • Experience working with Hardware Replacements/Vendor Work
  • Experience managing Cisco UCS
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining AWS environments.
  • Experience working with PowerShell and other scripting languages
