Senior Cloud Project Engineer

Basildon, Essex | Hybrid

£60,000

About Us

Tenth Revolution Group is hiring on behalf of an established and growing Microsoft Managed Service Provider based in Basildon.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of Azure, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure projects for a varied SME client base across Essex, Kent, and London.

This is a senior, hands-on position combining cloud project delivery, technical solution design, and complex 3rd line support. You’ll take ownership of customer projects from initial scoping through to implementation and handover, while supporting junior engineers and acting as a senior escalation point.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Azure Cloud and Microsoft 365 migration projects, including tenant-to-tenant, hybrid, and full cloud transformations
  • Design, deploy, and support Azure infrastructure across networking, compute, storage, identity, and security
  • Deliver Microsoft 365 projects covering administration, migrations, SharePoint Online, and cloud security
  • Lead wider infrastructure and networking projects for new and existing customers
  • Assess existing customer environments and contribute to technical surveys, solution design, and project scoping
  • Troubleshoot complex Azure, M365, server, virtualization, and network issues
  • Act as a senior escalation point for challenging 3rd line technical cases
  • Take ownership of projects and technical issues through to successful completion
  • Work closely with customers, internal technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders
  • Mentor and support junior engineers across project delivery and technical troubleshooting

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
