Position: Senior CMO Manager

Our CMO Management Team are now recruiting for a Senior CMO Manager.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical contact for external manufacturing partners (Fill & Finish, Visual Inspection and Packaging) and internal production teams
  • Support commercial manufacturing by reviewing process changes, deviations, CAPAs, and Change Controls
  • Contribute to technical projects, including process improvements, capacity optimization, technology transfers, and product launches
  • Perform technical assessments and support risk management activities across the product lifecycle
  • Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to review technical documentation, including Master Batch Records, risk assessments, and qualification protocols
  • Participate in troubleshooting activities and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
  • 2-3 years of experience in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment, ideally within Technical Operations, MS&T, or commercial manufacturing
  • Sound understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and GMP requirements
  • Experience working with external manufacturing partners or in a cross-functional, matrix organization
  • Knowledge of Change Control, post-approval changes, ICH guidelines, regulatory validation, and quality systems is an advantage
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across functions and sites
  • Fluent in English; German is considered an advantage

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 60.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
