An established organisation operating within the Energy Trading sector is seeking a Senior Software Developer (.NET / Angular) to join its engineering team in London. This is an opportunity to take ownership of enterprise-scale applications and distributed platforms, working on technically challenging software while influencing architecture, engineering best practices, and the ongoing evolution of a modern cloud-first technology estate.
The Senior Software Developer (.NET / Angular) Role
As a Senior Software Developer (.NET / Angular), you'll play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise-scale software that underpins a complex, business-critical technology estate. Working across modern.NET services and Angular applications, you'll develop scalable, resilient solutions that handle high volumes of data while driving performance, reliability, and maintainability across the platform.

Beyond hands-on development, you'll help shape technical direction across the team, working closely with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions from concept through to production. You'll contribute to architectural decisions, champion engineering best practices, mentor developers, and support the continuous evolution of a modern cloud-native platform built around distributed systems and event-driven technologies.

- Expert commercial experience developing enterprise applications using C#/.NET.
- Extensive commercial Angular experience, building modern, responsive frontend applications.
- Experience designing and building applications that process high volumes of real-time or low-latency data.
- Strong experience building scalable, data-heavy distributed applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with Docker, observability, automated testing, SOLID principles, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience mentoring developers, reviewing code, and influencing technical direction.
- Exposure to Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Azure DevOps would be highly advantageous.
