Job Description:

We are looking for a high-calibre Senior C#/.NET Engineer / Development Lead to join a fast-paced enterprise technology environment supporting Risk, Product Control and ESG IT.

This role is ideal for a strong hands-on .NET professional who can deliver high-quality software while contributing to technical design, platform enhancement and team collaboration. Depending on experience, the role can suit either a senior individual contributor or a technical lead with broader delivery oversight.

You will work across new product onboarding, methodology change, platform enhancement, production support improvement and selected greenfield initiatives, helping to modernise services and drive reliable, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and enhance C# /.NET applications, REST APIs, batch services and reusable platform components
  • Contribute to technical analysis, solution design, development and code reviews
  • Deliver change across the Asterisk ecosystem, including shared libraries, templates, orchestration, configuration and operational dashboards
  • Design and optimise integrations across MongoDB, SQL Server / data warehouse, enterprise data sources, REST APIs and messaging platforms such as ActiveMQ
  • Support migration from Windows-hosted services to OpenShift, including containerisation, service modernisation and technical debt reduction
  • Write clean, maintainable and testable code aligned to SOLID principles and engineering best practices
  • Contribute to unit, integration and regression testing, release readiness, UAT support, cutover and early-life support
  • Collaborate with developers, leads, delivery managers, support teams and business stakeholders to deliver controlled, production-ready solutions
  • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve coding productivity, test generation, refactoring, documentation and code review quality

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong hands-on experience in C# /.NET development within enterprise or production-facing systems
  • Good knowledge of.NET Framework, .NET Core / modern.NET, OOP, design patterns and SOLID principles
  • Strong experience with SQL Server, query optimisation, data integration and database-driven applications
  • Experience with MongoDB or similar document databases
  • Experience building REST APIs, integrations and message-driven services
  • Familiarity with ActiveMQ or equivalent messaging platforms
  • Practical experience with Git / Bitbucket, Bamboo or similar CI/CD tools, JIRA and NuGet
  • Exposure to OpenShift, Kubernetes or Docker is highly desirable
  • Experience in financial services, Risk IT, Product Control IT, ESG IT or regulated environments is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a controlled SDLC environment with strong focus on resilience, auditability and supportability
