Senior Commercial Account Handler
Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking for a brokerage where your technical expertise is valued, your voice is heard, and there is a genuine opportunity to progress your career?
We're partnering with a well-established and growing insurance broker in South Yorkshire that is looking to strengthen its Broking Operations team with the addition of an experienced Senior Commercial Account Handler.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive environment where you'll take ownership of a portfolio of commercial clients, working closely with Account Executives and insurers to deliver outstanding service and retention results.
The office offers excellent access from Sheffield and the surrounding areas, with strong transport links and nearby amenities. You'll be responsible for the full range of account handling duties including renewals, MTAs, policy administration, and day-to-day servicing, whilst also acting as a technical referral point within the team and building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurer partners.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' commercial insurance account handling experience within an insurance broker
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial insurance products
- Experience handling renewals, MTAs, and day-to-day client servicing
- Experience dealing directly with insurers and supporting placement activity
- Good understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty
- Experience using Acturis or a similar broking platform
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage a portfolio with minimal supervision
