Our Future Health
Our Future Health is an ambitious collaboration between the public, charity and private sectors, designed to help people live healthier lives for longer through better prevention, earlier detection and improved treatment of diseases. We will speed up the discovery of new methods of early disease detection, and the evaluation of new diagnostic tools, to help identify and treat diseases early, when outcomes are usually better. With over 2.5M volunteers across the UK, we’re now the world’s biggest health research programme of its kind, and our volunteer group is also more diverse than other, similar health research programmes.
Technology and data are central to our mission. Our systems power websites, clinics across the UK, secure analytics and research systems, pipelines that process highly sensitive health and genetic data, and we are continuing to grow our capability to support this ambition.
We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Analytics team and become the embedded analytics partner to our Commercial and Marketing teams.
This is a senior, hands-on analytics role for someone who enjoys getting close to both the data and the decisions it supports. You’ll work with commercial stakeholders to understand their objectives, turn complex or ambiguous questions into structured analysis, and use data to identify opportunities, diagnose problems and inform what happens next.
You’ll help us understand performance across the customer lifecycle, from marketing and pipeline development through conversion, revenue, customer behaviour and retention, and provide the evidence that supports commercial planning and decision-making.
You’ll also work directly across our modern analytics stack, using SQL, dbt and Omni to develop trusted data models, metrics, dashboards, forecasts and analytical products.
Sitting within Analytics but working closely with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Product and Revenue Operations, you’ll go beyond reporting what happened. You’ll help teams understand why it happened, what it means and where they should focus next.
Why join?
- Become the dedicated analytics partner to our growing Commercial function, working directly with senior stakeholders.
- Build commercial analytics end to end, from SQL and dbt models through to metrics, dashboards, forecasts and recommendations.
- Help establish the KPIs and measurement frameworks that will define how we understand commercial performance.
- Work across the full customer lifecycle, including marketing, pipeline, conversion, revenue, engagement and retention.
- Join while the capability is still developing, giving you genuine scope to shape how commercial analytics is built and used.
- Apply your analytical skills to a mission-led organisation helping enable health research at unprecedented scale.
You will
Partner with Commercial and Marketing
- Develop a strong understanding of our commercial objectives, processes and challenges, becoming a trusted analytical partner to senior stakeholders.
- You’ll translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical problems, challenge assumptions and proactively surface emerging risks and opportunities.
Build analytics products end to end
- Work hands-on across our analytics stack, writing SQL, developing and maintaining dbt models, defining metrics, and building reporting and dashboards in Omni.
- You’ll collaborate with Analytics Engineers and other data teams to improve source data, modelling, data quality and pipeline reliability where needed.
Create trusted commercial measurement
- Translate commercial goals into meaningful KPIs, measurement frameworks and supporting metrics.
- Establish baselines and targets and help ensure Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Revenue Operations have consistent definitions and a shared view of performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Understand what drives commercial performance
- Analyse performance across areas including:
- Marketing and customer acquisition
- Commercial pipeline and stage conversion
- Sales velocity and opportunity progression
- Revenue and customer growth
- Retention and customer engagement
- Customer and segment performance
- Rather than simply identifying trends, you’ll investigate what is driving them and where action may be needed.
Improve forecasting and planning
- Develop revenue, pipeline, customer and commercial forecasts alongside scenario models that support planning, target setting and investment decisions.
- You’ll make assumptions and key drivers clear, evaluate forecast accuracy over time and improve models as more data becomes available.
Improve CRM and pipeline insight
- Partner with Revenue Operations to strengthen our understanding of the commercial pipeline and customer journey.
- You’ll analyse pipeline health, conversion, velocity and progression alongside CRM data quality, helping teams understand where opportunities are progressing, slowing down or being lost.
Support commercial decisions
- Turn analysis into clear recommendations that support decisions around priorities, targets, resource allocation and commercial initiatives.
- You’ll combine internal performance data with relevant external context to help stakeholders understand options, trade-offs and potential risks.
Understand our customers
- Use CRM, product and customer data to understand how different customer groups behave and perform, helping Commercial and Marketing evaluate segmentation and targeting approaches and identify opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion and retention.
Make performance reviews more valuable
- Help shape weekly, monthly and quarterly commercial reviews with clear reporting, analysis and performance narratives, ensuring stakeholders understand what changed, why it matters and where attention is needed.
We’re London-based (Holborn) and work on a flexible hybrid basis (typically weekly with a team day every 2 weeks). We'd like to prioritise candidates who can reasonably commute and benefit from in-person collaboration.
We welcome applications from all who may not feel they match the full criteria, so if you have most of the below, we'd like to hear from you:
- Significant experience in commercial analytics, growth analytics, revenue analytics, business analytics or a related analytical role.
- Strong SQL skills and experience independently analysing large and complex datasets.
- Experience building and maintaining data models within a modern analytics pipeline.
- Experience with BI tools such as Omni, Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
- The ability to take an ambiguous stakeholder question and turn it into structured analysis and a clear recommendation.
- Experience defining KPIs, measurement frameworks and metric definitions.
- Experience analysing commercial or CRM data, such as pipeline, conversion, revenue, acquisition or retention.
- Experience building forecasts, planning models or scenario analyses.
- A good understanding of commercial performance and the customer lifecycle.
- Experience working with senior non-technical stakeholders and using evidence to support decisions.
- Experience collaborating with Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers or similar technical teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
It would be useful, but isn't essential, if you also have experience with:
