Senior Commercial Analyst | Manchester (Spinningfields) | Hybrid | £35k + £5k OTE
We're recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded UK technology services organisation that supports enterprise customers with complex network and cloud environments.
They're looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join a close-knit commercial assurance team. This isn't just a reporting role — you'll own analysis across live network services (WAN, telephony, mobile), improve how data is used across the business, and help shape more efficient ways of working.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning bill validation, trend analysis, and variance investigation
- Working extensively with Excel and Power BI, with real influence over reporting and process improvements
- Getting involved in FinOps processes alongside cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Partnering across the business to improve how commercial data is used

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
