Overview

Commercial Analyst

We are hiring a Commercial Analyst to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting the commercial performance of one of the UK's leading marketing and business transformation groups. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with finance leaders, client teams and agency stakeholders, helping to drive informed decision-making through commercial insight, forecasting and financial analysis. You'll have the chance to build your expertise across a diverse client portfolio while contributing to the continued growth and success of Leos and the wider Publicis Groupe UK network.


What you'll be doing

  • Partner with client leads and senior stakeholders to develop revenue budgets, forecasts and commercial plans across a portfolio of clients.
  • Produce monthly revenue, resource and cost forecasts, helping identify business risks and opportunities and supporting informed decision-making.
  • Deliver insightful commercial analysis to support client remuneration discussions, pricing reviews and resource planning.
  • Analyse timesheet, utilisation and profitability data to provide meaningful recommendations and improve commercial performance.
  • Support month-end reporting activities, including revenue recognition, accruals, deferrals and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure timely invoicing, accurate reporting and compliance with Groupe standards.
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives, client audits, new business proposals and projects that enhance processes, systems and commercial effectiveness.

Skills we're looking for

  • Experience working in a finance, commercial finance or analyst role with exposure to forecasting, reporting or financial planning activities.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including working with large data sets, financial models, pivot tables and lookup functions.
  • Ability to analyse complex information, identify trends and translate data into clear commercial insights.
  • Strong attention to detail with an organised and methodical approach to managing priorities.
  • Collaborative communication skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Interest in continuing professional development, whether through formal qualifications, on-the-job learning or broadening commercial and analytical expertise.
